Demo vocals are professional vocals designed for temporary use, ideal for pitching to labels, potential clients, or for producers and DJs to develop their original music. They are essential for any new idea to be taken seriously.

Package 1: Demo Vocals (Prewritten & Provided by Client)

This package is perfect for songwriters or creatives who have their lyrics written but need professional vocals and a high-quality recording setup. If you have your rough vocals recorded and your lyrics typed, our talented vocalists will bring your idea to life. We provide professional demo vocals with harmonies and adlibs, enhancing your project's quality.

Package 2: Demo Vocals (Songwriting Required)

This package is suitable if you need assistance with writing your song or refining your existing ideas. Whether you require lyrics, melodies, or want to explore new directions, our team will collaborate with you. With full creative control, our professional vocalists will record demo vocals that capture the essence of your concept. You can guide us on themes, lyrics, and styles, allowing us to bring your idea to life.

Our demo packages cater to new artists, recorded labels as well as producers and DJs seeking to enhance their instrumental tracks or productions with captivating topline vocals. Topline vocals encompass lyrics, melody, and a demo vocal recording of the topline creation. Please note that our topline demos are solely for demo use and are not approved for commercial release. Our packages are designed for clients intending to re-record our written and/or vocal content by replacing it with an artist of their own choice.

We can produce demo topline recordings over completed musical tracks, partially completed tracks, simple chord progressions, other song's instrumentals as placeholders, or even acapella (over no music at all).

Process:

  1. Select your preferred package.

  2. Upload your backing music/production, providing the key, BPM, and any relevant information such as rough demo vocals, desired vocal theme, or reference tracks. If you choose to upload a reference track, please explain the specific elements you are referencing, such as concept, melody bounce, or desired emotional expression.

  3. Keep an eye on your provided email for the delivery of your completed song!

If you realize any errors or need to update information, please deliver the updated details and attach all necessary files to info@djiamedia.com. Remember to include your order number and full name. We will consider any updates received within 24 hours of placing the order.

Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

 

Terms & Conditions:


These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of "Demo Vocals" services by Djia Media, Inc. ("Company") to its clients ("Client"). By engaging in any of the services provided by Djia Media, the Client agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.

  1. Demo Vocals Packages and Edits:


    1. The Client may choose from two packages for Demo Vocals services, namely "Demo Vocals (Prewritten Vocals provided by Client)" and "Demo Vocals (Songwriting required).”
    2. Both packages include only one set of minor edits.
    3. Minor edits must be requested within 48 hours of Djia Media delivering the asset to the Client.
    4. If the Client requires additional edits beyond the initial set of minor edits, one round of minor edits will be available for an additional fee of $79 for revision round. 
    5. Djia Media will deliver final vocals as raw unmixed wav files (only printed with autotune) for client's demo use. Mixing and mastering will be the responsibility of the clients. Djia Media will apply a rough mixing such as reverb when delivering the rough mp3 prior to final raw wav files being delivered. 
    6. Assets will be delivered 5-7 business days from order being placed.


  1. Songwriting and Compositional Ownership:


    1. If any songwriting is required as part of the "Demo Vocals (Songwriting required)" package, Djia Media shall retain compositional ownership, including songwriting and publishing rights.
    2. The song, including any lyrics and melodies created by Djia Media, must be registered prior to any commercial release.


  1. Demo Use Only:


      1. The vocals provided by Djia Media are intended for demo use only.
      2. The vocals are not approved or intended for commercial release without the explicit written consent of Djia Media.


  1. Payment and Delivery:


    1. The Client agrees to pay the agreed-upon fees for the selected Demo Vocals package.
    2. Payment shall be made in full before the delivery of the final asset.
    3. Djia Media will deliver the completed demo vocals to the Client in the agreed-upon format and within the agreed-upon timeframe.


  1. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality:


    1. The Client acknowledges that all intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, associated with the Demo Vocals services provided by Djia Media are the sole property of Djia Media.
    2. The Client shall not disclose or use any confidential information provided by Djia Media for any purpose other than the agreed-upon services.


  1. Refunds:


    1. There are no refunds for the Demo Vocals services provided by Djia Media.


  1. Limitation of Liability:


    1. Djia Media shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the Demo Vocals services, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
    2. The total liability of Djia Media, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific Demo Vocals services.


  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:


    1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA.
    2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the State of California, USA.


By engaging in Djia Media's Demo Vocals services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions stated above.

Prices may vary from project to project, subject to workload, schedule, deadlines and other variables.
